A crown popped out over the weekend requiring total replacement. From the moment I entered 17th Street Modern Dentistry each member of the team welcomed me, starting with Destiny, at the front desk, who can make you smile, regardless of physical discomfort or while summarizing your out-of-pocket costs! I was assigned to Dr. Jalhoum who greeted me with a warm smile and listened attentively to my concerns and comments, before, during, and after the dental process. She was so kind and communicative that I knew I was in the best hands that day. Dr. Magar, the specialist who did my root canal (yes, the root nearly met the crown--hence pain!) rescheduled clients to ensure he could take care of the matter, which made me feel like a priority. Despite being in a chair for 5 hours and the last to leave that evening, I departed with a smile, albeit slightly crooked till the anesthesia wore off!

A shout out to Destiny. I recently sat in the waiting area for well over 2 hours waiting for my husband’s somewhat complicated oral surgery (very successful, BTW). I ease dropped on Destiny’s conversations with about a dozen people. She worked with each one to get the absolute best price so that they could afford treatment. This involved dealing with several insurance companies as well as looking for other discounts. She was always calm; always positive; and always helpful. I am so impressed with her kindness, competence, and attitude. Well done, Destiny!
